Breast enlargement is widespread nowadays, in TV, in magazines, in the internet, you name it, the trend is inescapable. These days, breasts are big, figuratively speaking. They are big in terms of commercial income, in terms of popularity and in just about every way that affect our consumer driven lives.
As a consequence, breasts these days are also getting bigger, literally. More and more women are after that providentially reachable dream of huge, figure enhancing breasts. While a number of breast enlargement methods in order to reach the desired goal exist, the most common breast enlargement method would undeniably be breast implants.
Breast enlargement through breast implants are primarily offered in two varieties. There are the saline filled breast implant and the silicone filled breast implant. Silicone gel implants are made of a silicone shell which is filled with a viscous silicone gel. Saline implants are made of a silicone elastomer shell which is full of saline liquid. In addition to these two varieties, there are also other implants available such as soy oil or polypropylene string implants. These are, however, not as common as the first two.
Breast implants as a breast enlargement method, naturally involve some surgical operation. The placement of the breast enlargement implant is an important consideration in breast implants as they often affect the cosmetic effect as well as the impact on the health of the patient by the implant. Breast enlargement implant placement is divided into four.
The "Subglandular" breast enlargement implant involves placement of the implant in between the pectoralis muscle and the breast tissue. This has the advantage of closely resembling the normal plane of the breast tissue. It is generally thought to provide the best aesthetic results. However, this position has a high likelihood of showing the wrinkles and ripples of the implant.
The "Subfascial" breast enlargement implant places the implant almost the same as the "Subglandular" position. However, the implant is located underneath the fascia of the pectoralis muscle. This method is thought to be an enhancement over the aesthetic effects of a "Subglandular" implant as the fascia helps to cover the implant as well as sustain its position.
The "Subpectoral" breast enlargement implant is the most common type of breast implant found. It involves placing the implant under the pectoralis major muscle by releasing the inferior muscle attachments. This type of implant achieves a maximum coverage of the upper pole of the implant while giving the lower pole a chance to expand.
The "Submuscular" breast enlargement implant is usually used in breast reconstruction. The implant is placed below the pectoralis without releasing the muscle's inferior origin.
A breast implant may be a girl's answer to her dreams of a perfect figure. However, how she will balance this dream with the severe and painful reality of breast implant surgeries is up to her. Breast implant surgery is just one method of breast enlargement, in any case. For the ingenuous but chest size challenged, a little research can go a long way.
